Square and cube roots

\(\sqrt{n}\) asks: "what number squared gives \(n\)?"   \(\sqrt{25}=5\) because \(5^2=25\).

\(\sqrt[3]{n}\) asks: "what number cubed gives \(n\)?"   \(\sqrt[3]{27}=3\) because \(3^3=27\).

Only perfect squares/cubes give whole number answers — know them up to \(\sqrt{225}\) and \(\sqrt[3]{216}\).
