Expanding brackets
Single bracket: multiply everything inside by the term outside.
\(3(2x+4)=6x+12\) · \(-2(x-5)=-2x+10\)
Double brackets: multiply each term in the first bracket by each term in the second.
\((x+3)(x-2)=x^2-2x+3x-6=x^2+x-6\)
