Decimal multiplier method

Convert the percentage to a decimal, then multiply.

\(34\%\) of \(£276\):  \(34\%=0.34\)  →  \(0.34\times276=£93.84\)

Any percentage works: \(17.5\%=0.175\)  ·  \(8.3\%=0.083\)  ·  \(112\%=1.12\)
