Mixed fractions to percentages — some need rounding, some compare two fractions
Word problems
Real-life contexts — read carefully and identify the calculation needed

Two methods

Method 1 — Equivalent fraction over 100:

\(\dfrac{2}{25}=\dfrac{2\times4}{25\times4}=\dfrac{8}{100}=8\%\)

Works when 100 is divisible by the denominator (denominators: 2, 4, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50).

Method 2 — Calculator: divide numerator by denominator, then multiply by 100.

\(\dfrac{7}{16}\):  \(7\div16=0.4375\)  →  \(0.4375\times100=43.75\%\)
